Custom packaging and label design

I create a custom design or pattern specifically for your needs and product.

How it works

  • We will either meet (if possible) or have a call to discuss your strategy and needs.
  • I will ask you to provide a few inspiration images that you find appealing for your product.
  • I will create a few designs, mockup them up on a similar product and send you a few options (depending on the price point we agreed on).
  • Once you have indicated which design or pattern is your favourite I will refine the design/pattern if needs.
  • If you require a collection of designs I can create complimentary designs.
  • Depending on the licensing and pricing model we’ve agreed to, payment will either be a flat fee, royalty model, or advance against future royalties.

No matter how many products bearing the design are sold, the purchase price is set

 

ROYALTIES

A percentage of your products sales

ADVANCE AGAINST ROYALTIES

 

Amount paid up front that’s smaller than a flat fee would be, with additional royalty payments kicking in after that amount is reached)

The percentage of sales the artist will receive, and when accounting reports will be due to the artist.

 

EXCLUSIVITY

Whether the surface patterns can be licensed to others, and in which markets.

LENGTH OF TIME

How long the products bearing the patterns can be sold.

 

 

LIABILITIES

The party held responsible if the end customer sues because of a faulty product.

PROMOTION

Whether the artist’s name is on the product, or only the manufacturer’s.

LOCATION PRODUCTS SOLD

The countries or territories in which the products be sold.
