Cacao, an Paris-based beauty startup, embarked on a mission to redefine beauty with a brand identity that elegantly solved a prevalent challenge in the skincare and perfume industry. The market lacked options that seamlessly combined chic sophistication with a commitment to natural authenticity, affordability, and ethical sourcing. This gap inspired Cacao to create a brand identity that not only curated a range of exquisite skincare and perfume products but also crafted an “at home spa” experience that spoke to the heart of true beauty. By utilizing 100% natural African ingredients, the brand identity successfully harmonized luxury and affordability, allowing women to indulge in a world of elegance while adhering to their preference for organic and ethically-produced goods. In doing so, Cacao established itself as a beacon of holistic beauty that resonated deeply with consumers seeking both refinement and a connection to the natural world.
Tasha’s Design conceived Cacao’s logo as a representation of the fundamental principles of sophistication, elegance, and interconnectedness. It serves as a bridge to both our inner wisdom and the wisdom inherent in the Earth. Echoing the gentle curves of the icon and logotype, the logo exudes a feminine aura that mirrors the nurturing essence of Mother Earth herself. The intertwining letters of the logotype further extend this motif of connectivity. This astute design solution aptly addressed the challenge of harmonizing feminine sophistication with a steadfast commitment to the ethos of responsibly sourcing ingredients sustainably.
